Thirst for the Cure, an annual event started in 2009, raises funds to help with urgent medical expenses for members of Oklahoma City's hospitality industry. Through our charitable foundation, Restaurants & Racquets, we are able to give something back to the hard-working employees of our independent restaurants and country clubs.

2011 marks the third year for the event and also boasts the best lineup of wineries so far! 30+ wineries pouring more than 150 wines! As you walk around and sample food from some of Oklahoma City's best restaurants, you'll be able to meet and interact with winemakers from Australia, New Zealand, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Washington, Oregon, and California. These vintners, who represent some of the best wines available in the country, are coming all the way to Oklahoma to help raise money for our cause.

Thirst for the Cure 2011 Vintners include:

Turley Wine Cellars, Blackbird Vineyards, La Sirena, K Vintners Charles Smith Wines, Owen Roe, Melville Estate, Palmina, 32 Winds Wines, Failla, First Drop Wines, Auntsfield Estate, Misfit Wine Co., Bonny Doon Vineyard, Vine Street Imports, Arietta, Couloir & Straight Line Wines, Caduceus & Arizona Stronghold, Darms Lane, ecoVINO, Hedges Family Estate, Joel Gott Wines, Martin Ray Winery, Terry Theise Estate Selections, Manifesto! Wines & Whetstone Wine Cellars, Pepper Bridge, Sivas-Sonoma, Torbreck, Quivira, Scholium Project, and Secco Italian Bubbles.

The wines will pair perfectly with outstanding food from:

The Coach House, La Baguette Bistro, Cattlemen's Steakhouse, Sushi Neko, Stella Modern Italian, Boulevard Steakhouse, Café 501, Ranch Steakhouse, Oak Tree Country Club, West, and more!

Please join us for a fun evening at the beautiful new Jim Thorpe Museum on Lincoln Blvd, where we have plenty of free parking. Plus, we will have some special silent auction items that you can only find at Thirst for the Cure! Hope to see you there--we need your support!!!
